Key Applications

This printer is intended to work only with cartridges that have a new or reused HP chip, and it uses dynamic security measures to block cartridges using a non-HP chip. Periodic firmware updates will maintain the effectiveness of these measures and block cartridges that previously worked. 1.Based on testing commissioned by HP and performed by Venture Electronics Spain, comparing the gamuts of HP Latex Gen 4 inks with those of leading competitive alternatives using UV technology. Test performed under the same conditions in all printers measuring the ECI2002 target with the FD-9 spectrophotometer from Konica Minolta.
2.While CMYK and Optimizer are duplicated with symmetrical double printheads, the Overcoat, Light Magenta, and Light Cyan rely on single printheads.
